A UFO or not a UFO, that is the question

Over the years, we have been sent many images from members of the general public with what they feel are captured images of UFO/UAP's. Like with the videos and images we are sent pertaining to the paranormal, we scientifically review these images and report back to the senders our professional report. Included here a few of such images to which we have been able to report back were in fact not a UAP together with the explanation of what (we felt) they actually were. We have also included images where we were not able to conclusively identify (to our satisfaction) what the image was showing.

Queenstown UFO's 29.5.09..JPG

The image here shows 4 UAPs hovering over Queenstown NZ. An airplane can clearly be seen flying between two of the objects. However in this case the original image was taken from inside a motel room and what can be seen here is the reflection of the motel ceiling lights on the rooms window. How can we tell? Well in this situation we can see that the dominant light source (the sun) is positioned to the left of this image, just take a look at the mountains and you can see that the light being cast comes across from the left. However, the main light source from the UAPs is coming from below rather than hitting from the left side indicating that in this case the original light source is from a lightbulb being cast down.  You can try this yourself at home, and see the same effect.

A large UAP flies across the moon, or is it? In this case the answer is no, it is in fact an airplane that has taken off from Christchurch airport. But again it looks good, and could easily be mistaken for something else.

Now this is a very common image and one that can on the surface look very much like a UAP has been seen (bottom left of the main light). However once again things are not always what they seem. In the case this is what is commonly referred to as camera flare and is a very normal effect when facing a camera into direct sunlight. Again try this with your cellphone camera and see what you observe.

We were sent this image by a lady who had taken a trip (together with a group) in a hot air balloon. It was a beautiful early morning trip with very little wind and like the others she took a number of images to record the experience on her digital camera. When she got home she downloaded the images onto her PC and started to review them all. She suddenly noticed that one image (and one image only) looked different from the others in that it seemed to be covered in small blue dots.

Not knowing why they were there, she sent the image to us in the hope we might be able to identify what they were. We ran the original image through a program that removes certain colors and enhances others, and were quite surprised with what we uncovered. Image A is the original picture but as we remove certain and enhance the image (B) we suddenly uncovered what seemed to be a digital graph of some type. We washed the image again and uncovered what can only be described as a matrix imprint of some nature.

One might conclude that as she was using a digital camera, she might have accidently hit a graphic mode button that would superimpose itself over the image to be taken. However in this case the graph itself is not designed to be captured as part of the image, and the configuration of her cameras graph looked nothing like the one in image C.

Conclusion? Well we could say it was a number of things, however in this instance we'd like to leave that up to you to come up with your own conclusion. Let us know what you think it might be.
